Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning has a Dynamic Assessment System, Participants decide the time, place and pace of the exam. The Evaluation Strategy of the programs includes a combination of assignments, on demand examinations, submissions, project report.
Evaluation Methodology for Post Graduate Diploma Programs:

Each subject usually comprises of an Assignment (30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination (70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.

Assignments are objective type and are available in the student login, these can be completed as per the respective semester schedule. And examinations are conducted at Designated Exam Centres. Students are required to book their examination slots as per their time and pace, hence named On Demand.

Post Graduate Diploma Programs (Other than PGDBA) students are required to submit project report of 100 marks.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) program students are required to appear for assignment, of 30 marks, on Research Methodology and Statistical Quantitative Methods. And submit a project report, of 70 marks.
The Diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessment, i.e. each computer based examination, each assignment and project, subject to completion of program duration and fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees / dues.
Evaluation Methodology for Post Graduate Diploma In Educational Administration:

Each subject usually comprises of a Submission (30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination (70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.

The examinations include a combination of objective and subjective element. Examinations are conducted at designated exam centres.

Students are required to submit Submissions (30 marks) for each subject at the end of the semester in the form of Resource File. The resource file comprises of lesson plan which the student needs to conduct in a preschool, do teaching learning activities, prepare school observation report, case study report.
The Diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessments, i.e. each examination and each hard copy submission, subject to fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees / dues.
