Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning has a Dynamic Assessment System, Participants decide the time, place and pace of the exam. The Evaluation Strategy of the programs includes a combination of assignments, on demand examinations, submissions, project report.

Evaluation Methodology for Post Graduate Diploma Programs:

• Each subject usually comprises of an Assignment (30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination (70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.
• Assignments are objective type and are available in the student login, these can be completed as per the respective semester schedule. And examinations are conducted at Designated Exam Centres. Students are required to book their examination slots as per their time and pace, hence named On Demand.
• Post Graduate Diploma Programs (Other than PGDBA) students are required to submit project report of 100 marks.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) program students are required to appear for assignment, of 30 marks, on Research Methodology and Statistical Quantitative Methods. And submit a project report, of 70 marks.

The Diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessment, i.e. each computer based examination, each assignment and project, subject to completion of program duration and fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees / dues.

Evaluation Methodology for Post Graduate Diploma In Educational Administration:

• Each subject comprises of an assignment (30 marks) and computer based examination (70 marks). Students should appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program within the validity period.
• Assignments are of objective type and are available in the student login. Examinations include a subjective element in addition to the objective part. Examinations are conducted at designated exam centres across the country.
• In Semester IV, students are required to submit a Project of 100 marks.

The Diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessments, i.e. each computer based examination, assignment and project, subject to fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees/dues.

Evaluation Methodology for Post Graduate Diploma in Pre-Primary Teachers Training Program:

• Each subject usually comprises of a Submission (30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination (70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.
• The examinations include a combination of objective and subjective element. Examinations are conducted at designated exam centres.
• Students are required to submit Submissions (30 marks) for each subject at the end of the semester in the form of Resource File. The resource file comprises of lesson plan which the student needs to conduct in a preschool, do teaching learning activities, prepare school observation report, case study report.

The Diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessments, i.e. each examination and each hard copy submission, subject to fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees / dues.

Evaluation Methodology for Diploma in Creative Writing in English and Diploma in English Language Teaching:

• Each subject usually comprises of a Submission(30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination(70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.
• The examinations include a combination of objective and subjective element. Examinations are conducted at designated exam centres.
• Students are required to submit Submissions(30 marks) for each subject at the end of the semester.

Evaluation Methodology for PG Certificate in Entrepreneurship Development, PG Certificate in Cyber Law, PG Certificate in Management Accounting and PG Certificate in Digital Marketing:

• Each subject usually comprises of an Assignment (30 marks) and Computer-Based Examination (70 marks). Students are requested to appear for the assessments on a timely basis and complete the program in the validity period.
• Assignments are objective type and are available in the student login, these can be completed as per the respective semester schedule. And examinations are conducted at Designated Exam Centres. Students are required to book their examination slots as per their time and pace, hence named On Demand.
• Under PG Certificate in Cyber Law Students are also required to submit a hard copy of Research Project for 100 Marks.

The Certificate will be awarded only after the student passes in all elements of assessment, i.e. each computer based examination, each assignment and project subject to fulfilment of all other criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees / dues.
