Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning offers AICTE approved online PGDM programs across industry sectors and has been an education partner for leading corporates such as Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, IBM, Deloitte, Cognizant Technology Solutions, HP, Convergys, TATA AIA, Mphasis, Finolex, Garrett Motion, Vodafone etc. for many years.  

We at SCDL understand that while it is important to build domain expertise, it is also important to focus on holistic development of the students. As all full time colleges are grappling with challenges of delivering education online, there is little or no input given to students to improve their personality, communication kills and other soft skills, important to become successful managers of tomorrow.

At Symbiosis, we have designed special value add programs as a part of the curriculum to help it’s students in their quest to develop themselves not only meet the current demands of the industry but to also improve themselves as professionals. Students, who have paid full course fee for their enrolled program can avail the benefits of Value Add Services provided by SCDL.

1. Career Continuation Program (CCP) – Our Career Continuation program has been especially designed to ensure that you acquire the right skill sets to continuously move up the career ladder. Join us on this journey to hone your skills as together we will explore the nuances of becoming a good leader.

2. Placement Assistance Service - SCDL provides the following placement services to all its enrolled students.

1. Career Assessment Service – Understanding your interest & passion is the first step towards making a successful career. We offer our students a scientific method of assessing one’s interests and capabilities and choose the right career path.

2. Placement Training Programs – We have curated a training program to help students find their dream job. Topics include Resume writing, Communication Skills, Interview skills, Creating LinkedIn profiles

3. Placement Assistance - We have established a dedicated Placement Cell that facilitates placement. SCDL has strong industry connects and the placement cell is in continuous dialogues with our corporate partners to identify job openings for our students. SCDL also conducts an annual placement drive for our students

Career Relaunch Program – SCDL has started the ‘CAREER RELAUNCH PROGRAM’ is a support group exclusively for our female students, where we try to understand the aspirations and hurdles women face while returning to work, the challenges faced by employers to re-integrate them, and the interpersonal dynamics that women face at home and at work due to various social norms. This helps us find the necessary tools to enable women to restart their careers and achieve their potential.

4. Mentorship Program - The general approach in most distance learning institutes to imparting education is collective, i.e. through online classrooms only. This tends to be particularly true where student intakes are in large numbers. However, self-improvement plans are best addressed through an individual mentorship process. At Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, students are assigned mentor from the senior faculty for individual programs specifically for this purpose. By providing information, guidance, and encouragement, a mentor can play an important role in nurturing your aspirations.
