The Academic Council is the principal academic authority of SCDL and is responsible for monitoring the academic activities of SCDL. The members of our Academic Council are stalwarts from the field of higher education and industry, and they possess long years of experience.

Board Of Studies
The Board of Studies is one of the academic authorities and is responsible for monitoring academic activities relating to the development of course material and allied activities. It exercises general supervision and coordinates various activities right from introduction of new programs up to designing the course curriculum and program structure, content, syllabi, evaluation methodology, development of question banks, credit policy & standard of passing.

ICDE International Conference held by SCDL at Pune
Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) Pune hosted the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) International Conference in Pune, India on March 10 and 11, 2017 at its Model Colony Campus. The theme of the Conference was “Unleashing the potential of ODL - Reaching the unreached”.
