Create databases, Database up gradation from 2000 to 2005 version. Dead Locking tracing, root cause and remedy. Manage users and permissions. Planning and implementation of Backup and restoration.
	Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning.
	To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
	Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
	Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. Configure and maintain tools in our operations center that help keep the database operating efficiently.

	Data Analysis or Database Replication in a high volume multi-platform transactional environment
	Exposure to High availability through Clustering, Replication and logshipping. Extensive exposure to Installations/ Migration/ Cloning/ Patching.
	To constantly scan the field of expertise to develop competency and understand any new emerging technology trends.
	To train other team members in technology areas

	Database creation and Database upgradation from 2000 to 2005 version, Planning and implementation of Backup and restoration. Good acquaintance with Security management (OS and Database levels). Verifying disaster recovery related scripts backups
	Managing Hard disk Space Utilization, Monitoring Memory & CPU Utilization, Experience in management & monitoring replication server
	Advanced knowledge of writing SQL scripts
	Experienced in data modeling.
	Exposure to UML or other associated object orientated design methodologies
	Demonstrates a strong understanding of the database development life cycle including data modeling, database coding, testing, and implementation.
	Strong experience of relational databases, backup and restore operations, DB logins/permissions, stored procedures, schema, triggers, database maintenance activity, etc. MS SQL Server 2005 & 2008
	N-tier Architecture
	5+ years of full-time relevant experience.
	Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects.
	Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
	Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.
	Previous production environment, large data center experience especially with distributed, multi-tiered systems.
	Working knowledge of internet protocols, web applications, databases, Java, HTML, and XML
	Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science or equivalent degree.
