| Post Graduate Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher's Training (PGDPTT) |
Overview:
It will provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills required by a
pre-school teacher. The program aims to acquaint learners with the fundamentals
of child development in the early years; namely, 0-6 years and also 6-14 years.
The learners will learn the importance of planning and implementation of early
childhood curriculum. The program will equip learners with the know-how of
running a pre-primary school on their own. The learners will also learn to work
with children with special needs, so that early identification can be achieved.
Despite the distance mode of delivery, enough chances for hands-on experience of
teaching pre-school classes have been incorporated into the curriculum. |
