Certificate Program in Consumer Protection Act (CPCPA)

Overview:

Consumer Protection Act has applicability in everyone’s life. Certificate
Program in Consumer Protection Act (CPCPA) will give a historical background of
the Consumer Movement, the Rights of Consumer and the legal procedures of
acquiring those rights. The Doctrine of ‘Caveat emptor’ rightly justifies this
Act, “let the buyer be aware about his rights and liabilities”. |

Duration and Registration Validity
|
|
|
The duration of the CPCPA program is of six months, while the registration is
valid for one year. |
|
|
|

Eligibility
|
|
- Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized University, OR
-
International/SAARC students who have graduated from a recognized University.
**Students appearing for the final year of the graduation examination can also apply (subject to graduation within the time-line specified by SCDL).
