What does provisional admission mean? What needs to be done to convert it to a confirmed admission?

Students, who do not fulfill all the admission related eligibility criteria as per SCDL policies or when the application form has one or more deficiencies as mentioned below, get provisional admission:
- Graduation / Diploma related documents not attested
- Work Experience / Service Certificate (for Diploma holders / Active Defence Personnel respectively) not attached
- Insufficient documents
- Incomplete / Unsigned application form
- Name Change Certificate not attached
- Photographs (2 copies) not attached
- Visa copy (for International Students) not attached
- Age Proof Document not attached (Required for DCWE & DTE program only)
Students admitted on provisional basis do not receive an ID card until their admission status is confirmed. They must submit the required deficient document/s or comply with deficiencies immediately upon receipt of provisional admission letter / Email, so as to get Confirmed Admission.If a Provisionally admitted student, fails to submit the required deficient documents on or before 17th November 2012, the admission is liable to be cancelled. It’s the sole responsibility of the student to submit all the required documents within the prescribed timeline.

What is the process of cancellation of admission?
|
|
Students have to send the Admission Cancellation Application available in student login within the specified time only with the SLM kit and Admission Letter and/ID sent by SCDL on registration. Only on receipt of the above, the admission cancellation request will be processed. Kindly note that SCDL will not be responsible for postal delays.

What is the last date to cancel my admission?

For all Programs, last date to receive the request for cancellation of admission is 8th September, 2012.

How to apply for admission reactivation?
|
Student whose admission is cancelled due to non-payment of or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria in case of fees provisional admission can apply for reactivation of cancelled admission. Students will be required to pay an additional amount for reactivation of admission as given below: Reactivation Fees for Indian Students (Civil/Defence etc): Rs. 3000/- Reactivation Fees for SAARC Students: US $ 200 OR INR Rs. 10000/- Reactivation Fees for International Students: US $ 300 OR INR Rs. 15000/- Reactivation of admission is subject to fulfillment of all admission requirements and payment of balance fees if any.

How can I apply for dual specialization?
|

Dual specialization is available only for the PGDBA and PGDIM programs. For more details, please refer to the e-prospectus.

How can student’s admission status get changed from Provisional to Confirmed?
|

Students will have to submit the required deficient documents within the due date to confirm the admission status.

Can a final year student enroll for any of the programs?
|
|
For all Programs, students appearing for final year of their graduation examination may also apply. However, admission will be granted on a provisional basis. On receipt of the Degree or Provisional Certificate, the admission will be confirmed.

What is Registration Fees?
|
|
Registration Fee is the administrative charge that has to be submitted along with the application form by Demand Draft in favour of “The Director, SCDL Pune” payable at Pune or by cash (at SCDL office only) or can be paid online. For more details on the same, please see the fee structure of various programs on the website.
