Most Programs offered by SCDL have common Evaluation Methodology. Each student
is evaluated based on the Assignments / Submissions / Projects and / or
Examinations as is prescribed for a Program.
Online Assignments |
Programs for which assignments are to be submitted in an ‘online mode’ are called Online Assignments. Each Online Assignment has to be submitted through the SCDL web site (Student
Center), and is objective in nature & provides immediate results/score card. Online Assignments can be submitted at any time during the program/course registration validity for current and past semester courses.
On-line & On-demand Examinations |
Courses comprising a Program for which there are examinations to be attempted in an ‘on-line mode’ are called Online Examinations. Online Examinations consist of objective questions and can be scheduled ‘On Demand‘ at student’s convenience through the SCDL web site. Online examinations are conducted through selected Designated Exam
Centers in more than 40 cities across India. International students can appear online examination through administered mode from Designated Exam Centre in Dubai
or with the help of embassy officials, reputed companies/organizations, universities/colleges or library.

Submissions |
For programs such as ADCW , DCW & DTE (Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Creative Writing in English and Diploma in Teaching English), the evaluation is in the form of ‘Submission’. The Submissions are subjective in nature and are to be submitted in the form of a hard copy to SCDL at the end of each semester.
Resource File |
For the Post Graduate Diploma in Pre-Primary Teachers Training Program and
Diploma in Teaching English, students are expected to submit a ‘Resource File' to SCDL at the end of the last semester. The Resource File has to be submitted in the form of hard copy by post
/ courier to SCDL and cannot be submitted online.
Project |
For PGDIT & PGDID programs, the evaluation methodology consists of a Project
Report to be submitted online in the form of a soft copy.
