Admission Procedure:

SCDL admission commences from April - May 2012 for academic year starting
from July 2012.
For seeking admission a student needs to buy the prospectus. In the prospectus
the student will get detailed information about programs, admission procedure,
eligibity, fee structure etc. the student is required to fill the the
Application / Admission form attach attested photocopies of all required
documents, and send to SCDL Main pune along with the DD of the registration
fee or pay online the registration fee.

Applicants who are either fresh graduates / post graduates, Final Year
examination appearing/appeared
students, working professionals, house-wives, retired Defence personnel’s
or their dependents are categorized under General / Civil Category, Active Defence,
Paramilitary, Police or Symbiosis Employee / Staff have to pay the Registration Fee
as mentioned under General / Defence Category as applicable.

1) Walk-In Admission (SCDL)
|
|
Students may walk in to SCDL Main Campus at Pune, Maharastra with the duly filled
Application Form, Registration Fee and all other required documents(notarized/attested), as specified. A student, after satisfying all admission and eligibility criteria, can walk out with the Admission Letter, (Confirmational/Provisional), Identity Card (for confirmed admission) and Welcome Kit.

2) Information centres
|
|
Students may buy the Prospectus at any of our 'Information Centres' located all over
India. Students may seek counselling for programs offered by SCDL. This facility
provides the students will a platform to explore rewarding career options.

3) Walk-In at local Axis Bank Branch
|
|
Students may collect the propectus from the listed Axis Bank branches. The
list is uploaded on the web site for your help.
After purhasing of prospectus, the student is required to fill the Application,Admission form attach attested photocopies of all required
documents and send to SCDL Main Pune Office along with DD of the Registration
Fee. For more details click here.

4) Postal Admission
|
|
Students may send by post duly filled Application Forms along with Registration Fee and required documents. These documents will be scrutinized for eligibility. If the eligibility criteria and the documents required are found satisfactory, as per admission policy, the admission letter, ID card( for confirmed admissions), barcodes along with the exam handbook and welcome kit will be sent to the students.

SCDL offers a very cordial welcome to the International Students who wish to join our
programs. We have a fairly large number of students from more than 30 countries,
including Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Dubai, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Iran,
Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, USA,
Yemen and many others.
The Non Residents of India and SAARC countries will be termed as International Students.
International Students required to send the Registration Fee mentioned under the International
Student Category.

- The International Students (Outside India Students), are required to pay program fee and other
fees in Indian Rupees(INR) instead of US Dollars. The conversion rate of INR to USD
will be Rs. 50 to a dollar w.e.f April 01, 2012.
- For International Students, an address in a foreign country is mandatory,along with address proof
or copies of passport page showing visa of the foreign country.
- International Students must send the Prospectus request Fee in the form of Demand
Draft/Cashier's Cheque to SCDL. The Demand Draft/Cashier's Cheque must be drawn
in favour of “The Director, SCDL, Pune” Payable at Pune, India. (For

The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is an organization
of South Asian nations. Its seven founding members are Afghanistan, Bangladesh,
Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Applicants from the
SAARC Countries (Except India), have to pay Registration Fees as mentioned under
SAARC Category.
