REVISED ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA FOR POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2012 The Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Diploma Program is graduation in any discipline from a recognized University .Diploma holders are not Eligible for PG Diploma Programs offered by SCDL. The Printing Error in SCDL Leaflet is regretted. We request you to send us your Demand Drafts against Fees, immediately after receiving it from your bank. PLEASE NOTE : STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO ENSURE THAT DEMAND DRAFTS ALONG WITH REQUIRED FORMS, SHOULD BE REACHED TO SCDL WITHIN 75 DAYS FROM THE DATE ISSUE OF SAID DEMAND DRAFTS. ANY DEMAND DRAFTS RECEIVING AFTER 75 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR PROCESSING FURTHER DOCUMENTAION. Seeking your prompt support in sending all required documents as early as possible to avoid any complications.

Important Information w.r.t. Exam Form Receipt with Exam Fee up to 31st March 2012 Dear Students, w.e.f. 1st April 2012, the exam fee for each attempt of an exam to be paid is Rs. 250/-. The students can send the duly filled exam form with exam fee of Rs. 150/- , up to 31st March 2012, only. The exam forms received at SCDL after 31st March 2012, shall be sent with exam fee of Rs. 250/- . Kindly make a note.

Important Instruction for Online Assignment Attempt (Academic Year 2008 to Academic Year 2011) W.e.f. 1st April 2012, the students who have not attempted an assignment of a subject/s till date, there will be only 2 free attempts for each assignment of a particular subject. The students are required to pay applicable fees from 3rd attempt onwards. (Kindly refer Change in Fee Structure Table uploaded in your student centre in Fee Details Section and under Alerts – News Section on our website) No class improvement and additional attempt will be allowed for the assignments, which are already passed. For the students, who have already availed 4 attempts of any assignment, are required to pay the applicable fees to get an additional attempt to be released.

Of Maharashtra At a press conference held on 1st July in Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Ms. Swati Mujumdar, Chairperson of Vocational Committee, submitted the Vocational Committee report to Hon’ble Shri. Rajesh Tope, Minister for Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra. The report consists of some path breaking policies and recommendations in Vocational Education, Training & Skill Development sector for the State of Maharashtra and in general for our country.
