In recent years, the use of computers and internet has risen and now computers are an integral and indispensable part of any professional, commercial and industrial activity. The development of information technology continues to give rise to novel and complex legal problems related to the use of internet and computers. To ensure the appropriate and lawful use of technology, it is necessary to have certain rules and regulations. Rules and regulations that govern the transactions carried out with the use of computers and internet comprise Cyber Laws. It is also referred to as information and communications technology law and covers electronic commerce, electronic governance, intellectual property, cybercrimes, telecommunications, data protection and privacy.

Note : International and SAARC students seeking admission to this program may kindly note that the curriculum of the above mentioned Program is based on the Indian Legal System Practices and Indian Laws.

  • Bachelor degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
  • International / SAARC Graduates from a recognised / accredited University / Institution.
  • Students who have appeared for final year of examination of their bachelor's degree program and are awaiting results can also apply, subject to successfully completing their bachelor's degree program / graduation within the time period specified by SCDL.
Note: Students who are in their 4/5 year of the five years of law course may also apply, subject to the successful completion of previous three years of the course.

  • The Curriculum of the program is based on Indian Leagal System and Indian Laws.

    Application Form Fees (Non-refundable):
  • For Indian Residents (General / Defence Personnel / Paramilitary / Police): Rs. 1500/-
  • International : USD 100 OR Rs. 6,900/-
  • SAARC : USD 100 OR Rs. 6,900/-

Program Fees: Student has to pay the full course fees in one time payment, within 30 days from the date of admission.

  • General: Rs.15,000/-
  • Active Defence / Paramilitary / Police: Rs.15,000/-
  • International: USD 350 / Rs. 24,150/-
  • SAARC: USD 300 / Rs. 20,700/-

    Note: Participants are required to pay additional exam fees per exam per attempt.

    Fee Payment Mode: Fees can be paid Online or by Demand Draft.
  • Payment via Online: this can be done through payment gateway.
  • Payment via DD: this can be submitted at SCDL Pune campus. The Demand Draft needs to be in favor of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.
