Students may walk into SCDL with the completed application form, registration fee and all other required documents. If the student satisfies all admission and eligibility criteria, then the student can walk out with the Admission Letter, Identity Card (for confirmed admission) and Welcome Kit.

Students can also send the forms by post along with the required documents as per the checklist mentioned on the enrollment form and response envelope. Admission letter, ID card (for confirmed admissions) along with Welcome kit is sent to students by post to their communication address, if all eligibility criteria are satisfied.

	For all Post Graduate Diploma Programs, Certificate Program and Advanced Diploma Program
	* Application form completely filled and signed. * Two passport size colour photographs, one pasted and another attached to the application form. *  Photocopy of the Graduation / Diploma / Provisional or Passing Certificate duly attested by a Gazetted officer. *  Service Certificate, applicable to Diploma Holders and active Defence Personnel *  Name Change Document, if applicable. * Single Demand Draft for Non-refundable Registration Fee (giving candidates name / details on the   reverseside).The Demand Draft should be in favour of “The Director, SCDL, Pune” payable at Pune or in cash at SCDL office only. * For International students, photocopy of passport page showing valid visa of the foreign country.
	For Diploma in Creative Writing
	* Attested age proof document and photo-identity proof. * Two copies of recent passport size colour photographs. * Single Demand Draft for Non-Refundable Registration Fee (giving candidate’s name / details on the   reverse side) The Demand Draft should be in favour of “The Director, SCDL, Pune” payable at Pune or in cash at SCDL office only. * Name Change Document, if applicable.. *For International students, photocopy of passport page showing valid visa of the foreign country.

Application forms sent by post along with registration fees and required documents are scrutinized for eligibility. Confirmed Admission Letter, Identity Card along with Welcome Kit is sent to students if the student is found to be eligible for admission.

	Provisional Admission is given when the application form has deficiencies such as:
	* Documents submitted are not attested * Service certificate (for Diploma holders and active Defence Personnel) * Insufficient documents * Incomplete / Unsigned application form * Name Change Certificate * Photographs (2 copies) not attached * Visa copy (for International Students)
	Students admitted on provisional basis do not receive an ID card until their admission is confirmed. They must submit required documents or comply with deficiencies immediately upon receipt of provisional admission letter so as to get confirmed admission. Provisional admissions of students failing to submit the required documents on or before November 22nd, 2010 are liable to be cancelled. It is the sole responsibility of the student to submit all the required documents within the prescribed time-line.

Students admitted after 1st September 2010 will be considered as late admissions. Late admissions beyond prescribed time-line may be given with the Director's approval only. Late admitted students are required to pay the prescribed fees for the program they have enroled in full, (i.e. 1st & 2nd installments together) and they will not be eligible for any kind of refund of fees or change of Program / Specialization.

Students can enroll for one PG Diploma program in one academic year. Along with the PG program, students can choose either one more certificate program or maximum two single courses at a time on a single application form. Students should attach/pay separate registration fees for both the programs. Students can only register for such single courses which are not included in their diploma/certificate program. Single course registration is also admissible to persons who have not registered for any other diploma/certificate courses offered by SCDL. However, the registration fees and program fees as applicable should be remitted.
