
| Step 1 : Search the Subject |
| You may need to find a subject. A subject can be searched in two different ways.
a) Use the navigation buttons b) Use the search function. Specify the search criteria in the text box provided and click. In case you wish to see all the assigned subjects again, click the Show All button. Once you know the subject to be selected, click on the subject link. This will display the Assessment Summary screen as follows. |

This screen will display the Assessment Summary (You will also find the Assessment Results taken in the OLD Assessment Engine.)

| Step 2 : Launch Assessment |
| 2006-2007 Batch You can have only three attempts for each assessment. After three attempts, in case you wish to take another assessment, it will be a paid assessment, and you will have to contact SCDL Administration. If all the attempts including the paid attempts are not completed, then a link will be available on the subject name. 2008 Batch Student must submit and pass two assessments.Each assessment has only two attempts. Paid attempt will be given for those who have failed even after availing two attempts. For this, you will have to contact SCDL Administration. If all the attempts including the paid attempts are not completed, then a link will be available on the subject name. |
| Step 3 : Assessment Screens |
Following will be the first screen of the Assessment.
Click OK. At the start the Assessment Instructions will appear. If you are revisiting you will be takes to the Question screen.
Click on OK. The first question will be displayed.
You will notice that the Submit Use the Submit button to move to the next question. In case you wish to pause and take a break, the Assessment Engine will allow you to do so - just click on the Exit button. You may resume where you have left, by launching the assessment again. The test engine will take you straight to the last unattempted question. After you complete the current assessment, a Score Card will automatically be displayed immediately after the last question of your exam.
